Holiday Cocktails....The Bar Cart

With the holidays fast approaching next week and the usual mad rush to get every ones house done the pressure is on. Last minute phone calls  "Can you do my house for Xmas?".....no it is a bit to late....
The holidays got me thinking about the rave with the return of the bar cart.  Love...but they present a bit of a space issue.  Take a peek.....
How pretty is this bar cart?  A bit tight for space...where are you supposed to cut your lemon/lime.
The key is although they look gorgeous here, they really need to be cut ahead and put in a beautiful dish.
If you want to use them for color and staging then pop some of them in a gorgeous clear jar to the side. A small side table might make sense to actually make your drink.  Love the presentation here.
Looks like girls night out.

This one actually looks like two put together.  Again not to much space to actually make the drink.
Might be nice to have a small table between the two carts.  Overall I love the
functionality of these carts.
Maybe I would just zhush them up a bit, to make them pretty as well.

This bar set up for me is the most inviting.  It is easy, functional and looks pretty too!

Love this too, looks stocked well, plenty of room to actually make your drink too!
One of my all time party additions is making home made pineapple vodka.
It is delish and makes a smooth drink mixed with a bit of seven up and a lemon twist.
It is not to sweet and very refreshing.

The key to the drink station for me is to be fully stocked but also have some room to make your drink.
I love the bar carts but I think to make them practical a small table next to them is necessary for space.
How do you set up your bar?  Would love to hear from you.
