Decorating Your Home with Blue Opaline

I have been a fan of Antique Opaline glass for some time....but in particular the blue is my favorite. Only fitting since blue is my favorite color.  I recently was going through Mary McDonalds book and noticed that she not only uses the blue but also had some yellow in some of her interiors that was very pretty also...it just adds that punch.

This space by Linda McDougald has been a long standing favorite of mine.
The space in a tonal charcoal is absolutely stunning but add the blue opaline chandelier,
sconces and glassware on the counter and it goes totally over the top and really catches your eye and draws you in.

This space designed by Julie Miller with it's mix of animal print is again a real eye catcher.
Love how she layered in Antique accessories with a room that has a more modern feeling.
The tortoise shell boxes mixed with the opaline are an eye catching mix.

Here are some of my blue opaline picks...hot off the pages of Ebay.
Love that site....This little french sconce on the bottom right is gorgeous.
If you would like to see more go to Ebay and type in blue opaline.
